Hong Kong Goods Exports Rise 15.4% in January

| Comparing January 2008 with January 2007, the prices of re-exports of goods increased by 2.6%, while those of domestic exports increased by 2.8%. |

| In January 2008, the volume of Hong Kong''''s re-exports of goods increased by 16.1% over January 2007, whereas that of domestic exports decreased by 1.1%. Taken together, the volume of total exports of goods increased by 15.4%. Concurrently, the volume of imports of goods increased by 16.9%. |

Hong Kong CPI Rise 6.3% in February

| The Census and Statistics Department released today the Consumer Price Index figures for February 2008. According to the Composite CPI, overall consumer prices rose by 6.3% in February 2008 over a year earlier. |

Hong Kong Retail Sales Rise 17.4% in January

| The value of total retail sales in January 2008, provisionally estimated at $25.7 billion, increased by 23.3% over a year earlier. |

| After netting out the effect of price changes over the same period, the volume of total retail sales increased by 17.4% in January 2008 over a year earlier. The revised estimate of the value of total retail sales in December 2007, at $25.1 billion, increased by 16.9% over December 2006, while the volume of total retail sales increased by 12.5%. |
